Firefighters knocked down a fire at a manufacturing plant in Irwindale Saturday and remained at the scene in the midst of an extensive overhaul, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 5:43 a.m. to the 4400 block of Azusa Canyon Road had the fire out at 6:43 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The blaze was at a cabinet manufacturing plant, which led to an explosion in a saw dust silo, the Irwindale Police Department reported. No one was injured.
