Authorities Monday identified a 28-year-old man who was fatally shot in Palmdale.
Cory McAlpine, of Palmdale, was shot about 4:40 a.m. Saturday in the 38000 block of 11th Street East, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
McAlpine was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives urged anyone with information regarding the homicide to call them at 323-890-5500.
