A fire inside a Winnetka home Friday evening burned for 17 minutes before being extinguished by firefighters.
Crews responded at 9:43 p.m. to the 19700 block of Hemmingway Street, near the intersection of Corbin Avenue and Strathern Street, and found fire coming from the one-story home, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 26 firefighters extinguished the flames inside the 1,861-square-foot house and attic and a knock down was called at 10 p.m., Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
