A fire erupted Thursday in the attic of a Moreno Valley home, but firefighters quickly gained the upper hand, preventing it from spreading.
The non-injury blaze was reported around 9:15 a.m. in the 25000 block of Jaclyn Avenue, just off of Perris Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said multiple engine crews were sent to the location and encountered flames within the single-story residence, near the roof.
Crews contained the fire less than a half-hour later, officials said.
No one was displaced.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
