A woman killed in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles was publicly identified Sunday.
Angela Beard was 55-years-old, according to the coroner’s office. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man and woman in their 60s were wounded during the shooting at 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 6500 block of South Vermont Avenue, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Paramedics rushed the wounded man and woman to a hospital where they had stable vital signs, Lopez said. A motive for the shooting was not known.
