Two horses were free for a short time on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Pomona Monday after their trailer got a blow out and flipped on its side, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened on the Pomona Freeway just south of the Reservoir Street about 1:20 a.m., according to the CHP.
The man who owns the horses and a passing motorcyclist took off after the fleeing horses and captured them, the CHP said. They were placed in an undamaged trailer to be returned to their home, according to a news videographer at the scene.
