The estate of a 21-year-old Valencia woman killed in a fiery wrong-way collision with a UPS truck was sued Wednesday by the company, which is seeking to be reimbursed for the damage to the big rig.

Jessica Brooke Collier was killed on the Foothill (210) Freeway east of Roxford Street in Sylmar about 2:15 a.m. on May 24, 2012.

The Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit, which also names Collier’s mother, states that the motorist was driving east in the westbound lanes “due to alcohol intoxication and/or distraction from use of a cell phone.”

The UPS truck was badly damaged in the accident and the firm seeks $78,000 in damages, the suit states.

Collier was attending classes at College of the Canyons and working nights at a Claim Jumper restaurant, according to media reports.
