Authorities Tuesday identified a motorcyclist who was killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Sun Valley.
The accident happened at Glenoaks Boulevard and Nettleton Street at 10:13 p.m. Monday, said Officer O. Arriaga of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
Hovik Mkrtchian, 24, of Palmdale died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.
The other motorist stayed at the scene waiting for police. Accident investigators closed Glenoaks Boulevard to process evidence.
