A waste and recycling company in Anaheim caught fire this evening and firefighters continued battling the blaze

The four-alarm fire at Republic Services on North Blue Gum Street was reported around 6 p.m., CBS Los Angeles reported.

Local firefighting crews including Metro Cities Fire Authority battled to control the flames from outside the building.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The fire was knocked down by 8 p.m. but firefighters were still pouring water on the building, according to the Orange County Register.
