Fire destroyed three mobile homes and two outbuildings in Thermal Tuesday, but there were no reports of any injuries.
The Riverside County Fire Department responded to the blaze shortly after 2 p.m. in the 88000 block of Avenue 77. Firefighters arrived to find a single-wide mobile home fully enveloped in flames.
The flames spread to two more mobile homes, while also torching two outbuildings before crews managed to contain the fire around 4 p.m. The fire also burned through some surrounding vegetation.
No information was available on whether the blaze displaced any residents.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
