One person is dead Tuesday in a collision in North Hollywood.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol were called at approximately 1:54 a.m. to the northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway and Sherman Way where they found the victim, said CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was possibly a pedestrian but Kravig could not confirm that.
The collision closed three lanes of the freeway for several hours.
