A single-family residence under construction in the Del Rey area of Los Angeles was damaged by fire Monday evening.
The fire was reported at 10:35 p.m. at 11223 W. Lucerne Ave., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The 28 firefighters assigned put out the flames in 18 minutes, Stewart said.
No injuries were reported, she said.
