Forecasters are predicting sunny skies and warm weather for Riverside County this week.

Temperatures in the county ranged from the upper 70s to low 90s on Easter Sunday, Temecula reaching 77 degrees while downtown Riverside and Hemet reached 84 degrees and Palm Springs reached 93, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to rise Monday, with Coachella and Palm Springs nearing triple digits at 98 degrees, downtown Riverside and Hemet at 88 degrees and Temecula reaching 80.

Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid 50s for downtown Riverside, Temecula and Hemet, and to the upper 60s for Coachella Valley and Palm Springs.

Slightly cooler weather returns with a slight chance of showers on Thursday in downtown Riverside, Hemet and Temecula where temperatures are expected to be in the mid-50s to low 60s.

Temperatures will begin to warm up again as next weekend approaches, according to the NWS.
