A man was killed Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Pacoima.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at 12:08 a.m. to the northbound 5 Freeway and the transition road with the northbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway where they found one vehicle from the collision had rolled over the freeway embankment into a park area, CHP Patrick Kimball told City News Service.
The injured man died at the scene. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
