A fire damaged a vacant house in the Elysian Park area Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 2000 block of North Stadium Way at 6:24 a.m. extinguished the fire in the single-story structure in 18 minutes and prevented the flames from spreading to nearby vegetation, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
