Firefighters were battling an active fire Monday on the second story of an apartment building in Coachella.
The fire was reported at 1:05 p.m. Monday in the 50600 block of Cesar Chavez Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
One additional engine, truck and breathing support were requested at the scene.
It was not immediately known if there were any injuries. The cause of the fire was not immediately known either.
