A trash fire outside a commercial building near the Flower District in downtown Los Angeles was extinguished Wednesday.
Firefighters responded at 4:20 a.m. to 800 S. Cecilia St. between Maple Avenue and Wall Street where they encountered flames outside the two-story building, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
It took 55 firefighters 33 minutes to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported.
