Two patients were taken to a hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Van Nuys Monday evening.
Firefighters responded to the intersection of Kester Avenue and Vanowen Street at around 7:30 p.m. to a report of a two-vehicle collision, according to spokeswoman Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two patients, believed to be a man in his 40s and a woman in her 50s, were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Stewart said.
One of the cars in the collision went through the door of a restaurant at the intersection, causing minimal damage to the building, Stewart said.
There was no immediate information as to what led up to the traffic collision.
