A man was shot Saturday inside a vehicle in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 3:13 p.m. at 51st Street and Denker Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
Officers called for a canopy, an indication of a death at the scene, Madison said.
The victim was believed about 30 years old, he said.
The male suspect fled the scene northbound on Denker Street in a dark four-door sedan, Madison said.
A short time later, a videographer at the scene reported there was a second victim nearby.
