A motorist was killed and another motorist suffered significant injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Newport Beach, authorities said Sunday.
Officers were sent to the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Bowspirit Drive at about 4:35 p.m. Saturday in response to several calls of a traffic collision. They located a driver dead at the scene and another motorist suffering from significant injuries, the Newport Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed the injured motorist to a hospital.
