A 18-year-old woman found dead near an on-ramp to the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway on the border of Industry and Pico Rivera was identified Wednesday.
Emily Bortee was discovered at about 8:50 a.m. Monday near the Rose Hills Road on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The cause of her death was not disclosed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
