A man was shot Saturday in a neighborhood of single family homes in Riverside.
The shooting occurred just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of Heidi Road at Harmony Lane, according to Riverside police Officer Ryan Railsback.
Officers found the man on the ground and began treating him until paramedics arrived and took him to a hospital, Railsback said.
The victim’s condition was not immediately available. A description of the man was not provided.
There was no suspect information disclosed.
Detectives responded to the scene and civilians were urged to avoid the area until the investigation was concluded.
