Firefighters Monday battled a fire in Indio, where a trash truck was fully involved in flames.
Fire crews responded at 7:20 a.m. Monday to a report of a vehicle fire in the 42000 block of Jackson Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. A trash truck was found on fire directly next to a building.
“Firefighters are working to contain the fire, which is off-gassing from fuel tanks,” fire officials wrote in a statement by 8:08 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
