A man was fatally shot Thursday in the South Los Angeles area, and an investigation was underway.
Officers were sent to 83rd Street and Denker Avenue about 7:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The man, apparently in his 20s, died at the scene, police said. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
No arrests were reported, and no suspect information was available.
