Sheriff’s detectives continued their search Sunday for a 35-year-old man with diminished mental capacity who went missing in Lancaster.
Jesus “Chewy” Garibay was last seen at 1 p.m. Friday in the 17000 block of Coolwater Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Garibay is Hispanic. He stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 139 pounds and has short, black wavy hair and brown eyes, the LASD reported.
Anyone who has knowledge of his whereabouts was asked to call the LASD’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
