No tickets were sold with all six numbers in Wednesday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing to $120 million.
One ticket matching five numbers but missing the Powerball number was sold at a 7-Eleven at 10648 Atlantic Blvd. in Lynwood, according to California Lottery officials. It was worth $164,525.
The numbers drawn Wednesday were 5, 16, 18, 26, 67, and the Powerball number was 4. Wednesday’s jackpot was $100 million. It was the seventh drawing since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.9.
The Powerball game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
