A week ahead of the Emmy nominations announcements, the Hollywood Creative Alliance Tuesday released its list of nominees for the group’s Astra TV Awards, with FX’s “The Bear” earning a leading 15 nods, followed by Max’s “Hacks” and Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” with 13 each.

The alliance — which includes critics, entertainment journalists, content creators, industry insiders and creatives — presents its TV awards in a slightly different format than other organizations, with separate categories for broadcast, cable and streaming programs.

“The Bear,” “Hacks” and “Only Murders” all landed nominations for best streaming comedy series, along with Prime Video’s “Gen V,” Netflix’s “Girls5eva” and “The Gentlemen,” Apple TV+’s “Loot” and “Palm Royale,” FX’s “Reservation Dogs,” Peacock’s “Ted.”

For streaming drama programs, nominations went to Netflix’s “3 Body Problem” and “The Crown,” Disney+’s “Ashoka” and “Loki,” Prime Video’s “Fallout” and “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” Apple TV+’s “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters,” “Silo” and “The Morning Show,” and FX’s “Shogun.”

Receiving nods for best cable drama programs were Showtime’s “Billions” and “The Curse,” SYFY’s “Chucky,” Starz’s “Outlander,” and HBO’s “The Gilded Age” and “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.” Cable comedy series nods went to HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “The Righteous Gemstones,” FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and “What We Do in the Shadows,” SYFY’s “Resident Alien,” and Starz’s “Shining Vale.”

For broadcast programs, comedy nominations went to ABC’s “Abbott Elementary,” “Not Dead Yet” and “The Conners,” Fox’s “Animal Control,” CBS’ “Ghosts,” “The Neighborhood” and “Young Sheldon,” and The CW’s “Son of a Critch.” Broadcast dramas receiving nods were ABC’s “9-1-1,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Good Doctor” and “Will Trent,” CBS’ “Elsbeth,” NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “The Equalizer,” and Fox’s “The Cleaning Lady.”

The Astra Awards will be presented Aug. 18 at Avalon Hollywood.
