A restaurant employee was killed early Saturday when he fell off a ladder at South Coast Plaza.
Costa Mesa police and fire personnel responded to Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant at about 7:50 a.m. Saturday, police said.
The worker, described as a 32-year-old man, had fallen from the roof while climbing down a ladder and suffered severe head trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities do not believe it is a suspicious death and are investigating it as an accident, authorities added.
