A series of connector, on-ramp and lane closures on the Chino Valley (71) and Pomona (60) freeways in Pomona are scheduled to continue until Friday for road repair work, according to Caltrans.

The following closures will be in effect:

Wednesday

— Rio Rancho Road on-ramp to eastbound SR-60, closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

— Westbound SR-60 connector to northbound SR-71, closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

— Westbound SR-60 connector to northbound/southbound SR-71, closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— Northbound SR-71 mainline No. 2 lane, from Rio Rancho Road to Mission Boulevard, closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Thursday

— Rio Rancho Road on-ramp to eastbound SR-60, closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

— Westbound SR-60 connector to northbound SR-71, closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

— Westbound SR-60 connector to northbound/southbound SR-71, closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— Northbound SR-71 mainline No. 2 lane, from Rio Rancho Road to Mission Boulevard, closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Friday

— Northbound SR-71 mainline both lanes, from SR-60 to Mission Boulevard, closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday.

— Westbound SR-60 connector to northbound SR-71, closed from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m.

— Garey Ave/Riverside Drive on-ramp to northbound SR-71, closed from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

— Rio Rancho Road on-ramp to northbound SR-71, closed from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m.

All closures are subject to change.

Residents and businesses located near the freeway were advised to anticipate noise and vibrations associated with construction activities. Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

OHLA USA Inc. of Irvine is the contractor on the $148.703 million Expressway to Freeway Conversion Project. The work is funded by Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 and Measure M funds by Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
