Three people at a Culver City condominium complex were overcome by carbon monoxide and taken to hospitals and a hazardous materials team was summoned Saturday evening.

The incident was reported at 9:53 p.m. Saturday in a building at Buckingham Parkway and Sumner Way, Culver City police Sgt. K. Houck told City News Service. The condition of the victims was not immediately known.

Floors three and four were evacuated, Houck said.

The source of the carbon monoxide was not clear.

Buckingham Parkway was shut down to traffic from Kensington Way to Windsor Way due to fire department trucks.
