The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped four-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.358, a day after dropping two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 3.6 cents more than one week ago and 10.9 cents more than one month ago, but 3.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $2.015 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose a half-cent to $3.125, a day after it was unchanged. It rose for the sixth time in seven days and is 6 cents more than one week ago, 7.5 cents more than one month ago, and 4.3 cents more than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.891 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
