Flames fully consuming a recreational vehicle were knocked down in Lincoln Heights Saturday, as firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to a nearby public storage facility.

The vehicle was reported to be on fire around 2:25 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of North Mission Road, by North Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two dozen firefighters put out the fire in less than 30 minutes, the department said.

One off-gassing propane tank was allowed to burn, but no further hazard or injuries were reported by the LAFD.
