Four men, including three Chilean nationals, were arrested in connection with a series of residential burglaries, Glendale police announced Wednesday.

Matias Jesus Soto-Barraza, a 22-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was taken into custody Jan. 16 as a person of interest in connection with multiple burglaries in Glendale, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Meanwhile, Beverly Hills police arrested three additional suspects believed to be tied to the same burglary crew. Those suspects, all Chilean nationals, were identified as 29-year-old Joaquin Vergara-Contreras, 30-year-old Elias Moncada Reyes, and 43-year-old Juan Antonio Silva Loaeza, according to Glendal police.

Investigators recovered cell phones, signal jammers, firearms, jewelry, and other various luxury items during the execution of the search warrants. Police said detectives have linked the crew to residential burglaries in Glendale, Beverly Hills, San Marino and Los Angeles.

“This investigation is ongoing. Detectives will be working with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office to assist in the successful prosecution of these individuals,” police said in a statement.
