A 75-year-old woman who was reported missing after last being seen in Long Beach, prompting a Silver Alert, has been found, authorities announced Monday.
Wanda F. Thomas Jenkins had last been seen around 3 a.m. Sunday when she left her home in the 1700 block of Long Beach Boulevard on foot, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Jenkins has since been located, but no details were provided about when or where she was found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
