Firefighters Saturday knocked down an outside fire involving debris at a homeless encampment near downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 6 a.m. to 1631 E. 15th St. had the fire out within 18 minutes of their arrival, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
