
A man wounded in an officer-involved shooting in Santa Ana was hospitalized Monday in stable condition, authorities said.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of North Parton Street, said Santa Ana Police Sgt. Julian Rodriguez.
Officers patrolling the area “encountered multiple males and an officer- involved shooting occurred,” Rodriguez said. No officers were injured.
The name of the wounded man was not immediately released. A weapon was recovered at the scene, said Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna. Two males were taken into custody for questioning, he said.
