El Monte police Monday sought public help to find a hit-and-run motorist responsible for the death of a 74-year-old pedestrian.
The victim was hit about 8 a.m. Sunday near Valley Boulevard and Gibson Avenue, and died at a hospital, the El Monte Police Department reported.
Authorities withheld her name pending notification of her relatives.
No description of the suspect or vehicle was released.
