A smoky fire damaged a single-family house in Indio Saturday.
The fire was reported at 6:10 p..m. Saturday in the 82000 block of Gable Drive, at Disney Drive, according to the Riverside County fire Department.
Smoke could be seen coming from the attic of the single-story home when firefighters arrived, officials said.
Firefighters put out the flames at 6:35 p.m. and summoned the American Red Cross to help two displace adults find shelter, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
