A “flash fire” at a Mead Valley mobile home Thursday injured the occupant but was quickly extinguished.

The blaze was reported at 10:50 a.m. Thursday in the 21100 block of Markham Street, near Haines Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said several engine crews were sent to the location and found the resident of the single-wide trailer with unspecified burns.

It was unclear where the fire happened, and there were no details immediately available regarding the circumstances. The flames had been put out by the time firefighters reached the property, officials said.

There were no reports of damage.

The victim, whose identity was not disclosed, was taken to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment. The party was in stable condition.

Crews cleared the location at 11:20 a.m. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
