Two people were critically injured Saturday when a pickup truck crashed into a tree in the Granada Hills area of Los Angeles.
The crash was reported at 2:26 p.m. Saturday at 13470 N. Sepulveda Blvd. at San Fernando Road, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
A male and a female — whose ages were not available — were trapped inside the truck and firefighters used hydraulic tools to free them, Stewart said.
The two were in critical condition when taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment, she said.
