A 19-year-old man was wounded in an apartment area in the San Pedro area of Los Angeles, authorities said Tuesday.
The man was walking at 3:30 p.m. Monday near the 100 block of South Arboles Court at West First Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
A suspect fired a handgun at the man and he was wounded, the officer said.
He was taken to a hospital by a private party and had stable vital signs, the officer said.
