The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Sunday for the 19th time in 20 days, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $4.513, its lowest amount since March 25.

The average price has dropped 17.2 cents over the past 20 days, including 1.4 cents Saturday, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 8.3 cents less than one week ago, 10.2 cents less than one month ago and 30.3 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.86 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped six-tenths of a cent to $3.125. It is 1.8 cents less than one week ago, 2.7 cents less than one month ago and 33.1 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.891 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
