A man was arrested Monday after allegedly shooting another man during a dispute in Coachella.
Deputies responded shortly after 10 a.m. Monday to the 84000 block of Avenue 51 following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon, according to Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies found the victim at the scene and provided aid before he was taken to a hospital, Brito-Gonzalez said. He was listed in stable condition.
The identities of both men were not released. Brito-Gonzalez said the shooting stemmed from an unspecified dispute between the two men.
