Three women and a 35-year-old man were shot in South Los Angeles, and police Tuesday were looking for their assailants, authorities said.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 10:40 p.m. Monday to a call regarding a shooting of multiple victims at the intersection of 10305 Main St. and 103rd Street.

One victim was found inside a Dodge Durango and three additional victims were found near Fire Station 64 at 108th and Main streets, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service. The victims were taken to a hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics in unknown conditions, police said.

The ages of the women who were shot ranged from 52 to 30, they said.

The motive for the shootings and a description of the suspect or suspects were not immediately available.
