Police Tuesday were searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man riding a bicycle in Pomona.

Officers responded around 1:10 a.m. on June 30 to Monterey Avenue and Eleanor Street, where they found the cyclist in the roadway with serious injuries, according to the Pomona Police Department.

The man was taken to a hospital but died shortly after, police said. His name was not immediately released.

The suspect vehicle was described as a gray four-door sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima or similar make and model.
