A fire at a two-story apartment building in the Mid-City area was knocked down in 32 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported Friday.
The fire was reported at 11:21 p.m. Thursday at 4903 W. 20th St., between Washington Boulevard and 21st Street, where firefighters responded to a unit on the apartment building’s second floor where they found heavy smoke, said department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz.
A total of 37 firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported.
