Authorities sought the public’s assistance Saturday in locating a 76-year-old man last seen in Inglewood.
George Stinson was last seen around 7:30 p.m. Thursday near Centinela Avenue and North Market Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated a Silver Alert on behalf of the Inglewood Police Department.
Stinson was described as a 5-foot-10-inch-tall man weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray Nike jacket, black and blue Miami shirt, blue joggers, a black beanie and black shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Stinson’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
