A man was shot to death Sunday in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
Officers were called to a report of a burglary suspect at 6 a.m. Sunday in the 8500 block of South Hoover Street, at 85th Street, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im told City News Service.
They found a man believed in his late 20s down with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Im said. His name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
A description of the shooter the events that led to the shooting were not available, he said.
