Crews took a mere 12 minutes Friday to douse a fire that burned some vegetation and debris and briefly threatened a one-story home in Sun Valley.
The non-injury fire was reported at 11:18 a.m. at 9391 N. Ilex Ave., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was out by 11:30 a.m., he said.
There was no immediate word on what caused the blaze.
