Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide investigators Saturday are investigating a shooting outside a liquor store in Norwalk that left two men wounded.

Deputies from the department’s Norwalk Station responded at 10:57 p.m. Friday to 10917 Alondra Boulevard, west of Studebaker Road, regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived at the store, deputies found one man lying outside the liquor store with multiple gunshot wounds, LASD Deputy Daniel Dominguez told City New Service.

A short time later, investigators learned a second victim who had also been at the scene had taken himself to the hospital with a gunshot wound, Dominguez said.

The conditions of both men were not known or if the shootings are related.

According to reports from the scene, a dark SUV was seen driving away from the scene.

There was no suspect information and the motive for the shootings is under investigation, Dominguez said.
